Disability Program Navigator
& Ticket to Work
Navigators assist Job seekers with disabilities in providing referrals and problem solving services. The program was created by the Department of Labor and the Social Security Administration. Navigators are located in select Job Centers however cover broad areas.
Example of Services:
- Receive help in identifying resources for removing barriers to employment (health care, transportation, housing, etc.)
- Connect job seekers to community resources.
- Provide work incentive information including referrals to SSA Benefit Specialists.
