What is E-Hub?
The Entrepreneurial Hub (E-Hub) is a short-term training program for those who wish to own/operate their own small business, as well as those who already are currently in business for themselves (full- or part-time) and are looking for training and education. The course covers numerous topics dealing with business startups and the day-to-day operation of a small business, and teaches good business practices and ethics and encourages networking with other entrepreneurs and community resources.
E-Hub, formerly known as Urban Hope, was founded more than a decade ago in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Since the program’s inception, E-Hub graduates are responsible for the launch of more than 500 businesses and the creation of more than 3,200 full- and part-time jobs in northeastern Wisconsin. The program also has found success in Canton/Akron, Ohio, where it was launched in 2003.
E-Hub was first offered in Rock County in 2010 and so far has served 45 graduates — more than half of whom have launched or rebooted their businesses!
