Richland County Coordinated Services Team (CST) Coordinator

Richland County is seeking one (1) CST Coordinator to provide oversight of the Coordinated Services Teams which is a comprehensive, individualized system of care for children with complex behavioral health needs. This position will be contracted through the Southwest Wisconsin Workforce Development Board (SWWDB).

This will be a full-time 32-hours per week position with a wage range of $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending upon education and work experience.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Human Services-related field is preferred along with familiarity of resources and services available in the Richland County (including, but not limited to, mental health, public education, child welfare, substance use treatment, juvenile/family court, and corrections) and surrounding area. Knowledge of wraparound principles and process is also preferred. A valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, reliable transportation are required, along with the ability to pass a background check.

Purpose of Position:
The purpose of this position is to provide oversight of the Coordinated Services Teams which is a comprehensive, individualized system of care for children with complex behavioral health needs. This position will have an office at Richland County Health & Human Services.

Essential Duties:
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

  • Serve as Coordinator of the Coordinated Service Teams; including assembling the team and running the team meeting.
  • Maintain a client caseload including: coordinating team meetings, case management activities, documentation, correspondence, scheduling, and coordination with other staff and client’s families.
  • Provide outreach, information and training to schools, local governments, service providers and community organizations.
  • Coordinate services with other agency departments and community organizations.
  • Arrange work schedule as necessary or directed to meet the program and consumer service needs.
  • Represent Richland County Health and Human Services to the community at large through professional interaction, public speaking, media presentations, and participation in community advisory groups as requested.
  • Comply with applicable federal and state laws, administrative rules, established agency procedures and accepted professional standards.
  • Participate in on-going training, maintaining contemporary knowledge to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of client information and protected health information as required by State and Federal regulations, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPAA) Act of 1996.

Minimum Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health and human services-related field preferred.
  • Experience navigating service systems to obtain services for children and/or adults. Service systems include, but are not limited to, mental health, public education, child welfare, substance use treatment, juvenile/family court, and corrections.
  • Knowledge of resources and services available in Richland County and the surrounding area.
  • Knowledge of wraparound principles and process preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to automobile required for local driving.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
