Youth Outreach Coordinator

The Southwest Wisconsin Workforce Development Board (SWWDB), located in Platteville, is seeking applications for a full or part-time Youth Outreach Coordinator.

Primary functions relate to the recruitment and delivery of services to youth under multiple programs by coordinating appropriate grant resources, referrals and programs to ensure eligible customers are receiving workforce services that are appropriate to the needs of the individual youth.

A qualified individual must exhibit initiative and sound judgment, have the ability to work with minimal direct supervision, demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with a wide variety of persons/agencies to meet assigned deliverables, identify youth barriers to employment and resolve problems. Prior experience in case management, promotion, and instruction is important; however, a solid commitment to the delivery of individualized assistance in a compassionate, collaborative, thorough and objective manner is key. SWWDB will mentor and train the right candidate who understands SWWDB’s mission, vision, and corporate values. This position requires travel; a valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.

The pay range is between $18.00 and $20.00 based upon experience.
