Our Region
The Southwest Wisconsin Workforce Development Board (SWWDB) serves Grant, Green, Iowa, Lafayette, Rock and Richland counties.
As of 2007 (city-data.com), the total population of the six counties was approximately 301,664 residents. The six-county region is home to employers and industries that are as diverse as the area’s topography.

From the population hubs that have long been known as manufacturing centers to our agriculture-rich communities, the SWWDB area is also home to thriving and growing industries such as health care, food processing, finance, insurance, logistics, and warehousing.
