Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) - 2024-2027
The Southwest Wisconsin Workforce Development Board (SWWDB) has published the Southwest Wisconsin Workforce Development Plan as required by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) of 2024. SWWDB receives Federal and State funding to coordinate the delivery of employment and training activities in the southwest Wisconsin Counties of Grant, Green, Iowa, Lafayette, Richland and Rock Counties. The 2024-2027 Local Plan describes labor market conditions in southwest Wisconsin, including workforce needs, programs and partnerships.

Review and Comment Period
The public comment period will be open for thirty (30) days, from April 9, 2024 – May 9, 2024. Comments must be submitted electronically and received no later 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2024. All comments should be emailed to 2024comments@swwdb.org. All comments received are considered plan input and will be incorporated into the local plan before submission to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.
